Within a few hours

  2. Share last 90 days of quotes/invoices (PDF, photos, or export) — or QuickBooks access if you already use it.
  3. Reply with the best window for a 15–30 minute kickoff (driving is fine).

By day 14

You should be able to say: “I have a fixed invoicing process. When I finish a job, I expect to be paid within about 7 days.”
